Torgiano is centrally located allowing guests to discover the many wonders of Umbria. Many world famous cities and cultural sites are easily reached: Perugia and Assisi are so close as to be visible from Poggio alle Vigne, and nearby are fascinating hill towns such as Todi, Gubbio, Spoleto, and Deruta, a world center for magnificent majolica production.  Not far is lake Trasimeno, which offers opportunities for water sports as well as fishing, while the wide array of cultural and social events that run year-round in Umbria provide our guests with still more ways to enrich their holoiday at Poggio alle Vigne.
