In the heart of the Lungarotti vineyards of the Fattoria del Pometo estate, on the slope of the Brufa hillside, a small, cozy country home. Created by  harmoniously renovating an antique rural annex, this charming cottage takes on light and colours through its large windows, opening out onto a scented herb garden. Set among the vineyards, olive groves, rows of umbrella pines and tall cypress trees, it is not uncommon to spot pheasants and hares. In the distance, the outline of Perugia at sunset is superb. All of this makes for an ideal stay of relaxation and tranquillity surrounded by nature.

The interior is organized in an open space where the easy accessibility, choice of furnishings and fixtures, and the arrangement of the area show our attention also for guests with disabilities.  

Poggiolo’s name is inspired by the small “poggio” (knoll) that it sits on, where one can rest and be lulled by the sounds of the countryside and the light of long summer afternoons.
